The Summer of Wisdom

My feelings exactly...

Losing my wisdom (teeth) was probably the best thing that could have happened to me this summer.  I was forced to spend an exhaustible amount of time lying in bed with only the company of my Harry Potter books and the MacBook.  However, Harry soon bailed on me due to the fact that I didn't want to re-re-read the series once Pottermore goes live.  That left my MacBook.  I was drawn--as I always am-- to check out the Disney College Website which caused me to re-re-re-explore all the information I had discovered in the first place.  Then I noticed the OTHER OPTIONS tab in the student section of the site.  That was the day I discovered Disney Professional Internships.

Disney Professional Internships are basically one step closer to being able to fulfill my dream of working for Disney.  They are compromised of a variety of jobs from marketing to entertainment design to wedding planning!-->MY FAV.

As an aside, I haven't updated this blog in a while so my thought process and decisions regarding this whole college program have changed a bit from my initial posting.  As of now, I won't be participating in the Fall 2012 College Program.  I talked with my advisers and they said that I couldn't receive credit for any classes and I cannot afford to take off a semester from Vandy and expect to graduate on time.  Sad panda....

So the plan right now is to graduate and the following semester to join the College Program.  Disney has certain rules for this.  The semester you apply you must be taking classes from a college.  So I figure that I can apply during the second semester of my senior year.  From then on, I can hop right into a Professional Internship.  My logic is sound.
